Submitted Prayers and Reflections
Here is a selection of prayers and reflections submitted by parishioners. If you have a prayer or a reflection that you would like on the website, then please sent them to the Parish Office.
I am God
Today I will be handling all your problems.
Please remember that I do not need your help.
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle
do not attempt to resolve it.
Kindly put it into the SFGTD (something for God to do) box
All situations will be resolved,
but in My time not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it
by worrying about it.
Instead focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
Should you have a bad day at work
Think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you grieve at the passing of another weekend
Think of the woman working twelve hours a day, seven days a week
to feed her children.
Should you notice a new grey hair in the mirror,
Think of the cancer patient who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss, pondering what life is all about. Be thankful.
There are those who did not get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness or ignorance.
Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them.
Should you decide to send this to a friend, thank you.
You may have touched their lives
in a way you will never know!
Lord Jesus, I come before you, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins. Please forgive me. In your name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renonuce satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give you my entire self. Lord Jesus, now and forever, I invite you into my life Jesus. I accept you as my Lord, GOD and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit.
Come Lord Jesus, cover me with your precious blood, and fill me with your Holy Spirit/ I Love You Lord Jesus/ I shall follow you every day of my life. Amen
Mary my Mother, Queen of Peace, all the Angels and Saints, please help me. Amen
