Parish Outreach Group:
We recognise that joining a new parish can sometimes be a little bit daunting.
To help welcome new parishioners to our church, we have a small group of volunteers who “reach out” to members of our community.

Parish Help Scheme
The Parish Help Scheme offers daytime support to those in need. We are happy to help with anything which requires taking them out such as attending hospital or doctor appointments. We can also collect things like shopping or prescriptions. On the spiritual side, we also have several parishioners who regularly take to Mass.
If you are aware of parishioners who would value some help in ways the Scheme can offer, or if you would like to offer your services to help fellow parishioners, please see the latest newsletter for contact details. Alternatively contact the Parish Priest, Fr Dan Mason.
Welcome Group
The Welcome Group are the people who are there to greet people and hand out the Mass and hymn books before Mass, and to collect the books in again and tidy up afterwards. There are currently approximately thirty-five members on the rota, which means being on duty about every six to eight weeks depending on which Mass you go to.
We are always very grateful to have new helpers for any of the Masses. It's important for worshippers to receive a friendly greeting as they arrive and to have the books to enable them to participate fully in the service, so please consider joining us.
